If you've ever watched entertainment news, then you know how important those box office numbers are for new movies. These numbers can dictate if a movie is a hit, or a flop. If you've ever paid any attention to those numbers at all, then today's contest might just be for you!
This contest asks contestants to offer their predictions for specific movies, opening in November. Predictions are for the total for each movie, covering the entire opening weekend - Friday through Sunday. Amounts are for U.S. box office numbers, only.
Your entry will include all weekends fully within the month of November, each with its own releases. Entries are then "scored", based upon the difference between a prediction and the actual amount. The smaller the gap between the two, the lower the score. In the end, the person with the lowest total score, wins!
* Winner receives "The Office" (US) Seasons 1 and 2 on DVD.
November 2014 Box Office Tournament
