Today's sweepstakes bring another round of fabulous prizes. In the first one, there is a refrigerator that really caught my eye. The idea of designing for small spaces has always been appealing to me. I have followed the tiny home trend for a good number of years, and was inspired by these in my own 900 square foot home, while I lived in it.
In that home, I had intentionally used a small refrigerator (placed on a counter top), very effectively and efficiently, and with little food waste. This, along with a small chest freezer and a pantry full of food, fed the whole family quite well. I did this for a number of years, and was quite happy with the system.
In our new house, the refrigerator is too large, and takes up too much kitchen space. The extra space in the interior of the refrigerator allows for hidden things to go to waste. It is old, so doesn't have the modern improvements. I'm always on the lookout for something new and innovative.
So, sweepstakes of this type always pique my interest. I'd love to get that frig in my kitchen! Wouldn't you?
Then there is also some gorgeous lawn furniture up for grabs, in the second sweeps. Not only is it gorgeous, but it's also green, made from recycled materials. That's always a plus.
