Contest for Fans of Horse Racing!

Today's contest is for those with a love of horse racing, or for those who'd love to learn more about it. You can enter this contest for fun, or as a serious contender. The contest starts on November 7, 2014, and ends on November 30, 2014.

What you will do, should you choose to accept this mission, is place your bets on the selected race for any given day, for the duration. Lucky for us, this does not involve any "real" money. Even so, for the purposes of this contest, it is real enough, if you want to be a serious contender!

Using your contest "money", and your horse sense, you will choose which horses will win, place, or show for each race, and place your bets. You may place as many bets as you wish, in any number of combinations, up to a maximum of $100 for each race, though the minimum is $20 if you want the race to count towards your total.

What's in this for you? Well, if you're only playing for fun, then there is the fun of it all, along with a great way to learn more about handicapping. If you'd like to register as a serious contender, then there's the chance to win weekly prizes (if you're one of the top three for the week), along with the end-of-season "Top 100" prizes.

In order to be eligible to win the Grand Prize, you must enter a minimum of 10 races out of a maximum of 15 races available for entry. To win a weekly prize, you must enter a minimum of 2 races.

So what is this phenomenal grand prize, you ask?

* The two overall top finishers for the 2014 November on-line contest will receive entry into the $2-million NTRA/DRF National Handicapping Championship in Las Vegas in January 2015. Hotel accommodations and a $400 travel stipend will be awarded to each qualifier for the NHC.

Though anyone can enter to play for fun, in order to be eligible to win prizes, you must be at least 18, or 21 if you'd like to go for the grand prize, and a resident of the U.S., Mexico, or Canada.
