Enter to Win, Still More, Useful Prizes!

Today's sweeps offer some useful prizes, as in, things you could put to good use. Gift cards are always handy, as you can pick and choose just what you want to buy with your prize. Sometimes it's nice just to stock up on a few things, and sometimes it's even nicer to pick out something that will last for years to come.

Wyler's Light is again offering us some product and gift cards, too. Beverages can sometimes be difficult to keep up around the house, especially if you have kids, so this is another useful prize. Of course, the gift card is wonderful, too.

Along with these useful things, who couldn't use something beautiful for their home, to last for years to come? The Biltmore For Your Home sweeps offers just this!

It's Friday Free Day!

It's time to take the day off, and enjoy a free day!

In the mean time, I will be looking for an electrician to fix the meter box issue that has left the house with only partial power.

If I get the issue worked out in time, and thus get my internet back (along with most of the other necessities in the house), the post that was meant for today will post on Saturday.

My apologies for any delay.

Have a fantastic Friday!

It's New York Fashion Week!

New York Fashion Week starts today, and runs through September 11. It's always fun to see what colors, fabrics, designs, designers, and styles will be coming to a store near you, for the upcoming seasons.

You'll know what to keep, what to give to Goodwill, and what to save for its comeback, by the time that it's all over. You'll be so in-the-know that everyone will "Oooh" and "Aaahh" at your fashion savvy, every time you walk into a room. Well, maybe not so much, but, perhaps.

In any event, we have some great sweepstakes today, along with a little scandal (Omg!), in honor of New York Fashion Week!

Secret Light Tights Coffee Bean

* Prize is a pair of Secret Light Tights in Coffee Bean. No ARV is stated.

One entry per person/email address per day. Open to entrants who are the legal age of majority. Ends October 6, 2014.

Sweepstakes on Facebook!

Today's sweeps are all from sponsors' Facebook pages. Now, if you ever read the rules, you then know that these sweeps are not associated with Facebook itself, just the sponsors. Not that it matters to you much, if you're like me. It's just what has to be said.

In any event, I used to dislike these types of sweeps, as it is most often the case that you must "like" the sponsor's page to enter. However, time has changed my mind. These types of sweeps have grown to a new level of simplicity and creativity, and yet they can still be quite challenging. I've grown to love them, now.

Often you will also find short running sweeps on Facebook, some for only a day, which may increase your chances of winning. Generally speaking, as an added bonus, once you like a page for its sweepstakes, you will find more to follow, coming from the same page.

At the same time, it isn't always easy to keep up with what might be on your Facebook feed, nor is it easy to keep track of getting those daily entries in, when they are offered. Hence, yours truly is doing some of the legwork for you! Lucky you! (Me, too!)
