Your Pumpkin Carving Skills Could Win a $500 Gift Card!

October has arrived in all its glory, with Halloween now just around the corner. Ghosts and goblins and ghouls of all kinds, will soon be visible anywhere. With this comes fun for the whole family, in the skilled craft of pumpkin carving (Well, maybe).

This Old House is looking for pics of your carved pumpkin, along with a description, and the tools you used to create it. You can enter as many times as you'd like, though each entry must be a different pumpkin. Photos must be your own original work, and must not have been previously published.

Entries will be judged based upon the following criteria:

25% Originality
25% Charm and Personality
50% Handiwork

Winner and 24 finalists will appear in a photo gallery on thisoldhouse.com.
