Although I haven't in more recent years had the chance to camp as much as I used to, I do still love camping. I also love a good camper. I traveled the country for my job in my younger years, hauling my 20-foot camper behind me. It was fabulous.
No matter where I was, I could always be at home. Not to mention the people I'd meet. Camping people are really a unique breed. Warm and friendly, helpful and caring, always ready for some camaraderie. Low stress and connecting with nature is apparently good medicine.
Of course, there are different kinds of camping. This adds to the variety. You can have a nice camper of one type or another, or you can camp in a tent of this size or that, or you can sleep out in the open under the stars. I've done them all, and have enjoyed every single trip.
