Are You Up for a Fashion Challenge?

Though today's offering is not technically a contest, I think the "qualifier" is challenging enough that it suits a Sunday post. The primary difference here is that entries are not judged. The plus is that not everyone will enter these types of sweeps, and of those who do, not everyone will qualify, so your chances may increase.

For this sweepstakes, you are creating a fashion look of your own, inspired by the weekly challenge set forth for contestants on the Lifetime show, Project Runway: Threads, airing on Thursdays at 10/9 Central. These challenges are not published with the sweepstakes, so you will need to watch the show to find out what each weekly assignment will be.

One thing that will likely disqualify some entries, is that the design is not sufficiently inspired by the weekly challenge, so be sure to stick with that. Another may be the lack of a description. These are just my own assessments, not necessarily based upon anything but the rules and what I've seen over the years. You may see other things, too. So, be sure to read the rules and give yourself any advantage you can!

Once you have it, you are directed to "upload a photograph, sketch or drawing in a PNG, JPG or GIF format, under 5MB in size, along with a description representing the weekly looks/challenges as instructed (pictures will be inspired by the looks/challenges on-air during that week’s episode of Threads.)"

*Grand prize is a three day/two night trip for two to New York City. Trip includes air fare, accommodations, and a $500 stipend. Total ARV $3,500.

* One weekly prize winner each week will receive a $100 JoAnn's gift card and $250.

This sweeps is currently in week 4, which ends on November 21, 2014. Each new entry period begins on Friday at noon, the same day the previous one ends (hence, the previous one ends at 11:59:59 AM).

Week 6 begins on November 28
Week 7 begins on December 5
Week 8 begins on December 12

One entry per day, regardless of method of entry, each must be unique (no duplicates). Open to legal residents of the 50 United States and D.C., 18 or older. Ends December 19, 2014.
